Providing access for all is an essential part of what we do, and our mission as a centre to offer leisure and fitness activities whatever your age, ability or experience.

We have flat level access in the pool/gym building, accessible changing, shower & toilet facilities, large pool hoist, and small pool graduated steps.

We also make sure our pool waters are heated to accommodate low mobility users.

We know that access for all can always be improved, so if you have any ideas, please let us know!

For customers with disabilities with the requirement for an essential companion, we will provide free entry for your essential companion to the swimming pool, and free carer cards are also available to accompany memberships.

In the gym we’ve been adding upper body cardio pieces like KrankCycle and SkiErg for people with low lower body mobility. If you would like any assistance on how to use this kit, ask one of our instructors.

The Starfish Co also provide specialist disability swimming lessons.
